Hashi Sisters Earn
Pan-Hellenic Honors
March 21, 2002 Seniors Kaha Hashi and her sister Fatima Hashi have been named Black Scholars by the Pan-Hellenic Council of Northern Virginia. The Black Scholars Awards Program is an annual event where the NOVA chapter of the National Pan-Hellenic Council and the Northern Virginia community unite to honor Black Scholars. A Black Scholar is defined as a graduating high school senior who has achieved a Grade Point Average of 3.0 or above or has a 2.5 to 2.9 GPA with a score of 1,000 or higher on the SAT. The sisters will be recognized and
receive a plaque during a program at T.C. Williams High School on May 19,
2002.
