A Lot to Cheer
About
Cheerleaders Take 4th at States
These cheerleaders and others who were absent for this photo rose higher
than any former cheering group at George Mason when they earned a fourth
place finish at the Virginia High School League's annual state competition
in Richmond, March 22. The team missed out on taking home a trophy by just
2.5 points. The nine-team competition was won by Page County. The girls'
success came despite the absence of two key menmbers and an ankle injury
to another. "I couldn't have asked more of the team," said coach Keri Lambert. |
