Lee E. Morgan served on the Philadelphia from Spring 1941 until Thanksgiving Day 1942.

Besides his assigned duties on a gun crew and in the ship's store,
he contributed his artistic talent and literary creativity to the ship and his shipmates as shown below.
Lee Morgan passed away in November 2010 at the age of 93.
