The Tatra
Mountain Range forms a border between Slovakia and Poland |
This was the view from our
hotel room in Poprad |
Beginning the day deep underground in a cave
-Vazecka Jaskyna |

From Deep Underground

Up to the High Tatras

I had never been on a ski
lift before but it was the fastest way to get to the top
When we got to to the top, they had to stop the lift briefly since
I jumped off on the wrong side, oops
Then we walked a ways to the viewing tower

We
took the hiking path back down the mountain
It was only a few kilometers

Back at our hotel a Roma dance
troupe provided lively evening entertainment
