At this
point the village of Brhlovce looks picturesque but quite ordinary |

However, the area is an "historical
reservation" explained in pictures and Slovak text |

Stone houses at the base of
the cliff are a prelude to the main feature of the town |

These houses built right into the rock had
been used for centuries, right up to the turn of the 20th century |

Now they are preserved as a museum but also
still used as workshops |
