Although our main purpose of
visiting Prague was to see the Christmas Markets, we began our
tour in the historical Jewish Quarter including synagogues, graveyard
and memorial to the victims of the Holocaust

One Christmas Market was located between the
Cathedral and the Astronomical Clock |
|
A crowd gathered at the clock
to watch it strike at 12 noon |
At that time the doors open and the 12 Apostles rotate across
|
|
|
The Christmas Market had a variety of booths
and groups performing traditional entertainment |

The Charles Bridge |
This sculpture was funded hundreds of years
ago
by a man with Joe's family name |

8 years ago our friend introduced
us to this restaurant. He is no longer with us.
Here's to you, Vladimir.
The food, beer and atmosphere are just as we remembered |

We left Prague
by bus on ou way to the Danube
and stopped for lunch at the Pilsner
Brewery |
