This village was not included
on the SAS excursion that we chose so we visited it on our own
after the course ended.
It's like an open air museum (skanzen) where people actually live
While many villages were destroyed during WWII,
this one survived intact
Its remote location, high up on a mountain,
accessible by one narrow road was likely responsible for this
Residents are skilled in woodworking
My first test of my Slovak language skills
was successful and I was able to communicate well with the residents
