We had a choice of 4 different 3 day excursions around the country
Ours began with rafting on the Vah River

Our destination was Strecno Castle

Castles have one thing in common

If designed as a defense fortification,
you have to do a lot of walking uphill to tour them

Then you have a wonderful view of the surrounding area

The plaque at left was in the castle chapel
I think I translated it correctly

Heaven does not begin in the clouds but at a blade of grass.
It is good to know that even here on earth we walk everywhere in heaven.
