Our bus tour of the city passed many historical
sites. However,
it was difficult to take photos through the window.
This accounts for the "ghost-like" image of our fellow
passenger superimposed on the building.
After leaving the bus we had time to walk the cobblestone streets.

The Easter Market was in operation and well attended.
The 62 ft high Brunner fountain is a popular destination in Market
Square.
Visitors are visible turning the fountain's brass ring for good
luck.
In the 20th century Nuremberg had
a darker side including the stadium where Hitler held his massive
rallies.
After the war, Nuremberg was
the site of the Nazi War Crime Trials.
