This
"Stave" all wooden Church is similar
to those Rusyn Byzantine ones in Slovakia, no metal used at all,
not even nails
However,
these are Protestant and this one was a reproduction (kind
of like
in Habura, Slovakia).
The
16th century
original one was burned to the ground in the 1990s by a satanist.

Our next stop was maybe not for everyone but perfect for us.

We
visited the home, museum & grave of Edvard Grieg |

"To
paint in music the Norwegian landscape, Norwegian folk life,
Norwegian history and Norwegian folk poetry
was, for me, where
I believed I could achieve something" - Edvard Grieg |

This
is the "Work Shed" where Grieg composed his music
Away from the distractions of his home life

|
This
location was closer to the landscape that inspired him |

Overlooking the scene above is where
he chose to be buried
