We arrived a day early to board our ship the NCL STAR. By coincidence we booked the STAR hotel in the city center
This is an old historic hotel where horse drawn carriage travel was once provided Much faster today by taxi!
The interior reflects the history of the Victorian Era Queen Victoria stayed here twice before traveling to the Isle of Wight
The interior has been renovated and is very pleasant but The vintage elevator worked well enough but looked like Queen Victoria could have used it herself
	The pilgrims departed from this port for the new world
The city was heavily bombed during WWII but original fascades remain in front of the renovated areas
