This was our first cruise on an MSC ship There were 2 MSC ships in Marseille boarding through the same terminal We ALMOST boarded the WRONG vessel, but an alert crew member saw the error, retrieved our luggage and got us onto the Meraviglia
We were very pleased with the size of our cabin
The balcony allowed room to stretch out
Our cabin attendant provided critters to keep Joe company
We were dazzled by all the glitter on this ship
Throughout the day and night the CGI ceiling of the promenade created a different atmosphere depending on what was happening now
During "Selfie Time" the CGI ceiling showed the people on the promenade People took pictures of themselves on the ceiling
Many times we visited the Atrium to simply listen to the pleasant music
There were activities on the main pool deck throughout the day

Plenty of chairs available in the sunlight and under cover	The elevator lobby was so large that we often couldn't cross it fast enough

The sky lounge offers a wonderful panoromic view
As we left the Mediterranean the Captain announced we would be passing the Rock of Gibraltar At first we planned to view it from the Sky Lounge
However, the view was better from the main deck	It rose from the sea in the distance

Beautiful sunrises became a common sight
Six languages were spoken onboard and classes were offered to those who wanted to learn them	The Captain visited during Spanish class
