Yesterday
we walked the trail by the railroad tracks and looked out at mud
flats. This morning from the train we see it is high tide and water has covered the mud flats |

Moose
Pass is a scenic mountain village Surrounded
by the Chugach National Forest, it’s an ideal place It lies
along both the Seward Highway and the Alaska Railroad,
In 2010
its population
was 219 |
Here we had to leave the train and board buses
because the tracks ahead were covered by a mudslide when the dam above broke due to the unusually heavy amount of melting snow Alaska had experienced its warmist summer on record |

Finally
we arrived in Seward. The bus and train station is adjacent
to the harbor |
