Small
aircraft and Seaplanes are everywhere in Alaska since there are
only 3 major highways in the
entire state
Many towns and villages including the state
capital of Juneau do not have roads in or out.
The only way to
get there is by air or boat...and boat only in spring and summer.
Alaska is run by air! |

Chena
Village is a recreation of the Native Village that once existed
along the river
Over time the river changed course and the village became an
inland location
The large construction on the river is a "salmon trap"
